day one- when the English learning becomes blogging stories

 

In my childhood, I was very keen to learn English. My elder sister was intelligent among three of us siblings, so I always looked at her to get help to learn this language. She used to tell my younger brother and me how to pronounce the alphabet. I used to read out English lessons loudly to get out of the hesitation of speaking English. In school days, I was an average student, particularly in English. But it got improved later, as I progressed to the ninth standard, there was an English teacher, Name Ajay Sir. I never got a chance to attend his class because he taught a Higher Class. But Once he came to our Physical education class, It supposed to be a free class those days because no teacher took an interest in that Subject Sadly. So when once he attended that class, we students were asked to read out one-one paragraphs of a lesson. I then wanted to perform well in front of him, and my Hindi speaking practice worked. I still have a fresh memory after 13 years of that incident. He said a statement to that Class while I was reading out a para that This girl reads like a News Reader! Later in a higher class, when I was very excited about getting Him as my English teacher but in that education session, He had left the school. So I could never get the opportunity to learn this language from him. Although my English teacher, Ms. Shikha ma'am, was also A learned teacher. So this way I started knowing the grammar part of English. Later I joined the English coaching to Mr. Suraj Bhan Sir, He was phenomenal in grammatical English, so that helped to improve which I had learned from Shikha ma'am. But spoken English was still a Challenge for me. In graduation, My best friend Neha helped me a lot to get a little confidence in speaking out. Later I got improved,  but as I entered Hindi journalism, I became a very learned speaker of Hindi but loosed confidence in speaking English, which I am trying to learn through the Online platform.
